What Items do I have to purchse to attend Lavapalooza?

Every attendant must purchase a Vehicle Ticket for every Vehicle that they plan to drive in the event. If you are planning on camping on site you will also have to purchase one of the camping options. Meal tickets are optional, but should you not purchase them, you will be responsible for all of your own food.

How do I purchase Items?

Simply add all of the items you would like to have for the event, and then check out. You will be able to purchase items until August 1st, 2024, so if needed you can order additional items later.  There will be no in person sales of merchandise as it all has to be made ahead of time so if you want branded merch now is the time to buy it. 

How do I sign up for the Trail runs?

When you buy your tickets, you will see a separate list of RSVP’s. These will be located above the Standard tickets. You will simply RSVP to each  trail ride that you want to participate in. We will add extra runs as necessary, when they sell out. Please only select an RSVP QUANTITY PER VEHICLE, not per person.

Will the live music be family friendly?

Absolutely! The Lavapalooza Chairs, worked really hard to find a band that would cover a broad genre of music as well as provide a safe and family friendly environment. 

What items will be available for purchase on site?

This is a prepurchase and fully catered event. Raffle tickets being the exception.

So if you would like merchandise from the event, you need to prepurchase those items. If you would like to be able to have the meals for Lavapalooza those will also need to be purchased ahead of time. This is a fully catered event this year and we can not offer sales during the event. We promise that the food will be delicious.

Raffle Tickets

Raffle tickets will be available for sale during the event. They will offered via Cash, Venmo, and Paypal. If you choose to use card payment methods there will be a $1.00 processor charge added to the cost.

When to arrive for Check-in?

Check-in will be available Thursday 8/29/2024 @ 5:30pm-7pm. The only other time available will be 7am-7:30am Friday 8/30/2024. The overland check-in will be handled at the campsite, and will have an online form you will be required to fill out to participate. 

RV Spots Note

There is a rental of one of the spots that is an annual rental, so 11 of the 12 spots are available for the whole event. With the 12th spot being rentable for Friday 8/30/2024-Monday check-out. This separate spot will make a great spot for someone who can only attend starting Friday.

Do I have to sign up for a trail run everyday?

No you do not have to sign up for a trail run everyday. Pick which trails you want to join and then if you end up with a free-day or time window, then feel free to check out some of the great locations that are around Idaho Falls area. Or you can just spend a relaxing few hours walking the river belt near by or fishing in the river. There is also a boat launch at this location so you can kayak down river. 

Paypal Sevice fees

All event purchases for this event have price adjustments to cover the cost of using PayPal for the service fees. Thank you for your understanding this is a Charity event after all.
